Ok. I can sit in front of my server and execut the command but I have a problem to get the result to my computer.
The SSH was mentioned in a earlier post but I have also no glue does it works.
Sorry. I have only litle knowledge in working on the command line. This is the reason to use NetServer with the GUI
ERROR in /etc/e-smith/templates//etc/dnsmasq.conf/35NetbiosNameServers: Program fragment delivered error <<Can’t call method “green” on an undefined value at /etc/e-smith/templates//etc/dnsmasq.conf/35NetbiosNameServers line 9.>> at template line 4

IMVHO, before trying to update your server with a package in testing area, I will dig into the problem to understand and recognize it…
otherwise we’re just adding another variable to the system
moreover, OP is unconfortable with CLI (and reading other posts from him, with many aspects of servers and IT); we all should take this fact in the right way.
@WillZen: no intention to be rude, but I strongly suggest you to do some studies and tests (google will help you with “how I access ssh server from a pc?” and so on)
@zamboni fisrt of all we need to know his revision of NS packages!
next we should run it on testing server , and debug with our knowledges! not user knoweledges!
i’m ready to setup Virtual mashine !
I really can’t figure out where is the problem.
Make sure the green interface is correctly configured.
Then try to enable/disable the DHCP configuration and check if the error persists.
I totally agree.
Do NOT update a system from testing repository unless you fully understand what you’re goiing to change.
And @nas, please do not suggest his bad behavior
one of my nethserver in production

other testing KVM
[root@nethserver templates]# rpm -qi nethserver-base

@zamboni
I did google for SSh and found a instruction. I will set it up.
From my point of view I got the impression that the NethServer should be for smal bussines where someone handle the server. The GUI make it easy to maintinace the server and do the daily work. Everthing is fine until you have a problem. Than you are lost with the manual becaus you need Linux and hands on IT knowledge to solve the problem.
Why you don’t add this information in the manual or the HowTo section?
For me who didn’t get this experience during his work and other newbies have first no idee what you are mean with this kind of comment.
Could you be so kind and explane to me what the shortcut IMVHO is. I will add it to the shortcut list in the FAQ.
