I’d like to see full integration of a zerotier controller. While there is already support for adding it as an interface, a GUI within NS for managing it would be an excellent VPN / PrivateWAN solution.
Just a note, the latest version of zerotier adds DNS entries/capability to the controller.

Does Zerotier have any real advantages over something like Pritunl (https://pritunl.com/)?
Both products are commercial, with a limited free use option.
But Pritunl seems to offer way more features, and the Global unlimited Option costs about as much as the middle version of Zerotiers…
I’m almost always curious, to compare new products and services…

Zerotier is actually free. It is only the online controller interface that is commercial at this point (for more than 50 devices). Setting up your own controller is simple: https://key-networks.com/ztncui/ Or even here on NS (in case you missed it): Zerotier (controller?) support
I have it implemented at a few locations and love it. Even just for my own support services being able to connect to other machines/servers in my zerotier network without the need to open ports on routers etc. I also use OpnSense as a simple router for that network - it has a built in process for the zerotier interface making routing it quite easy.

Pritunl has the advantage of supporting any OpenVPN client…

Yes. I have played with and setup many VPNs with a variety of clients over the years. I love the simplicity of zerotier: install client, enter network name; get authorized … done.
This is my favourite other VPN server/client by the way: https://www.softether.org/
It has its own client but also supports the MAC/Windows built in options as well. Simple intuitive GUI.
