Webtop - How to export Addressbook

Where in the Addressbook can I export all addresses we’ve entered?

Hi,

you can do it with Thunderbird and the CardBook Addon.
I think there is now way to export the Adressbook directly in Webtop. There you can only import Calendar and Adressbook.

Hi @wbilger, I don’t know that it was ever possible to export a phonebook from the WebTop interface . It is a feature that is present in currently low priority roadmaps. If you want you can always export a category of contacts via postgres commands like this: access the webtop5 database: su - postgres -c 'psql webtop5' identify the category_id of the address book to be exported: select * from contacts.categories; if you know the username that is the owner of the address book…

Thanks very much @lucag for this reply. I will give it a try.

But is there a reason why this wouldn’t be built into Webtop? I’m coming from Zarafa and it also did not have a native export function which makes it very difficult to move to a new mail server if needed/warranted. I would think exporting and importing addressbook data should be standard in Webtop. Is this on your roadmap and if not then why not?

I confirm that the export of contacts and events is on the roadmap … we hope to have them soon
