    We’ve improved our threat shield implementation specifically for community users, ensuring robust protection without a paid subscription.

  4. New Management API:
    For advanced users, we’ve introduced a new API for managing the threat shield, currently accessible via command-line.

  5. Customizable Protection:
    Users can create and implement custom categories for personalized protection.

Great news! The necessary packages are available starting today for all community installations:

  • ns-threat_shield: version 0.0.7
  • ns-api: version 0.0.81

For Subscribers:

  • Access to additional enterprise-grade categories for more comprehensive protection.
  • The updated packages will be available for machines with active subscriptions starting from 24 July 2024.

Our Threat Shield DNS utilizes high-quality blocklist sources, including oisd.nl and the hagezi/dns-blocklists GitHub repository, ensuring protection based on the most up-to-date threat intelligence.
