I would like to use Synapse/Matrix server with NS8,
Is there anyway to accomplish that ? officially or non-officially ?
Mattermost is good, but to have LDAP or OpenID links we need a license …

hello @remi_python.I am still working out the best way into implementing matrix into nethserver as a one click app similar to other apps.
While implementing synapse and matrix would and can be easy to achieve, my plan is to have a complete full featured implementation of matrix with all bridges, and potentially with options based on this installation here spantaleev/matrix-docker-ansible-deploy:

In relation to mattermost, if you would be patient, there is works in progress of implementing Ldap into mattermost here Mattermost needs LDAP authentification · Issue #6850 · NethServer/dev · GitHub
