Hi friends,
in some environments the usernames are not the same as the mail addresses, for example the username is mn@domain.tld but the mail address is m.neuberger@domain.tld.
We already have the possibility to edit the mail field to set another mail address for domain users but it’s not used in the mail app. When “Enforce sender/login match” is enabled, sending from m.neuberger@domain.tld isn’t allowed as the address is unknown.
Also no mail for m.neuberger@domain.tld can be received without manually creating a mail alias.
I propose to add an option “Add mail addresses from user domain” to the mail domain page to preconfigure the mail field addresses to make them usable.
