It would be helpful if you’d edit your original posts to reflect this, because none of the ones I’ve seen do. Instead of (or in addition to) the CLI add-module command, advise to add the repo (with its URL), and then note that it can be installed through the software center.

are there plans to migrate Dolibar from NS7 or is there i possibility i dont know?

We have Ldap implementation first which need to be completed, then we can look into a possibility of Migration.

However migrating DOlibarr even without a migration tool should not be difficult, as this can be achieved through a database dump, and miporting the same into NS8.

no it must be from the same version first, then you can upgrade the version within NS8

I think this is not possible out of the box. Latest version on NS7 is 17.0.1 and on NS8 it starts with 19.x.x ?

in a previous post i mentioned, if this is needed, it shouldnt be difficult to create a version 17 and 18 version for NS8, for this purpose

I’ve migrated mine to a Rocky Linux 9 VM for the moment and updated to the latest versione. But if the project of the app on Nethserver 8 goes forward i’ll be happy to return!

I was in the condition of everyones’ here: Dolibarr installation on a NS7 VM. After the start of the Dolibarr App project on the NethServer 8 without possibilities of migration i’ve decided of move on to a dedicated VM with Rocky Linux 9.

if we create previous versions compatible with ns7 versions of Dolibarr, Are you able to manually migrate your data and database to NS8, and Import into NS8 DOlibarr if given instuctions on how to import?

No more, i’ve started the new setup long ago (i don’t remember exactly when) however as a NethServer fan and follower i’ll be glad to come back if I could migrate again. As i stated above now i’m on the latest version, 21.1.0 on a Rocky 9 VM.

f we build a Module version similer to whats available in NS7 then yes, it should be possible, otherwise it has to be a manual migraiton.
What version are you using On NS7?

then the begining would be to build a VErsion 17.01 for Ns8, and workout an Upgrade path from that version to the current available version for NS8.

@hucky will you be available to test this, if made available?

Also, what database version for Dolbarr is available on NS7 for the said version, or on your instance
