Nextcloud 29 & collabora 24.04.11.1.1 need testers

Hello mates

I need tests on nextcloud 29 with a new version of collabora 24.04.11.1.1

I would like to test collabora with LE certificate but if it works with a self signed it is good also for me.

please go ahead

Hi @stephdl and thank you for the effort.

Here are a few error messages. Collabora no longer works. I cannot open any documents.

However, I also have the message in the middle regarding the instance not being executed on an older instance of NC

Regards…

Uwe

Nice one to get version 29 before Xmas. thanks for this.

are you with a LE certificate ?

Yes, i use LE.

did you try to disconnect the user from nextcloud and connect again, I got myself the same behavior
eventually reload the page

I disconnected the user, cleared the browser cache and then reconnected to the same user. Same result. Then I changed the user. Same result.

And now i become zhis message:

And nothing changes when I add the IP of the client to the authorized hosts.

What version of nextcloud did you test, nextcloud stable + collabora testing ?

The testing version of collabora and nc what you offered here.

Nextcloud: Version 1.2.2-dev1

Collabora: Version 1.4.5-dev.2

lets wait the input of others, I succeed on a direct install with nextcloud/collabora testing with LE

check error in logs, in the administrative setting of nextcloud (office)

it works except I needed to unlog the user IIRC

I have restored my backup from yesterday and everything is back to normal. Then I installed the test version of NC. This time not via Putty, but directly via the software center. Apart from this error message, everything looks good so far.

However, the Collabora trial version does not work with the new Nextcloud trial version. With version 1.0.8, however, it does.

@mrmarkuz knows I got some issue myself with collabora when I tested his work…even a developer could have some issues

Please some more testers

That’s what I’m asking for, dear Nethserver fans.
@stephdl wants to give us a Christmas present. And we should help him wrap it in nice wrapping paper. Especially as my results don’t necessarily have to be representative.

I tested installation & upgrade of Nextcloud and Collabora and it just worked without issues. :+1:
Upgraded Nextcloud also worked with current Collabora.

Rocky VM with subscription:
Nextcloud upgrade + Collabora upgrade :white_check_mark:

I just did the nextcloud update on 2 servers and everything seems to be working properly. I use the builtin collabora app in nextcloud rather than the module in nethserver. Is there a reason I should change that?

Eh that is a good question ?

No answer excepts about privacy maybe

Maybe some clues but not sure

Did you try a private tab in your browser, eventually a new attempt with another browser or the last but it should not needed, a restart of the server
Also
Can you see the ok whe. You reach the url of collabora
Can you get the admin page of collabora

Good morning @stephdl and Merry Christmas,

yes, I have done everything you describe. Collabora is accessible and also the admin console. Even with another PC, whose browser has not yet been involved, it won’t work. Removing and reinstalling Collabora does not change anything either. What does work without problems, however, is the implementation of Onlyoffice. I tested this last night.
