do we need an ISO cd or can we ask to install CentOS to test alpha2?

I would have the ISO. At least unattended is known to work since alpha1! See below:

I also made an attempt with ISO building, but decided to not release the ISO as only unattended installation works!

You must have a repository to develop.We need a reposytory to test.

Sure! After alpha2 is released we freeze the base repository and add fixes to testing and updates, as usual.
