The testing update 18.0.4 solved the “missing AD groups” issue for me. Please test before applying in production environment as there may be another bug with smb shares but in my test it worked.
Nextcloud 18.0.4 is ready to be tested!
I’m asking your support, because as @dnutan already pointed out in the tracker, this release of Nextcloud contains a bug inside the Samba share connection plugin: https://github.com/nextcloud/server/issues/20622
The bug should not affect all installations. Anyone who use the Samba integration would give it a try?
Nextcloud 18.0.4 is available only on NethServer 7.8.2003 (which is read, but just wait for the announcement ;)).

Hello, seems that a regression is present in recent caching code for fetching ld… ap groups; configuration is ok, but no ldap group is shown in Users view. Replacing
apps/user_ldap/lib/Access.php
with a pre-caching version fixes.

I can confirm that the changes survive an update.
