Are there errors in nextcloud log? (/var/lib/nethserver/nextcloud/nextcloud.log
)
Do you use a valid certificate?

Your Onlyoffice install seems to be reachable and working so I think it’s an issue with the Nextcloud app.
From your nextcloud.log:
“message”:{“Exception”:“Exception”,“Message”:“Bad healthcheck status”
Is the onlyoffice app enabled?

Office online is not required for onlyoffice.
Office online is needed for connecting to microsoft office online server.

No, just reinstall the Onlyoffice app in Nextcloud. I noticed that you also installed the collabora app, it’s not needed for Onlyoffice.

I just installed Onlyoffice using the wiki, and everything seemed to work fine. However, when i pressed save for the settings for the OnlyOffice server on the web interface of nextcloud, i got the following error:
Error when trying to connect (cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: 127.0. 0.1; Unknown error (see libcurl - Error Codes ) for https://127.0 . 0.1/healthcheck)
I have selected mydomainfornextcloud:8082 as the address and see the instructions for testing when i open it. i have secret key enabled.
For advanced, it has defaulted to https://127.0.0.1 for ONLYOFFICE Docs address for internal requests from the server and Server address for internal requests from ONLYOFFICE Docs
I tried saving again with the secret key unchecked with no changes in the results.
I have no diea

i just realized that there was a space at 127.0. 0.1, so i fixed that, and got a new error when saving.

Maybe rewriting the configuration helps:
signal-event nethserver-onlyoffice-update
Which version did you install? The most recent 7.2.x versions aren’t working yet.
As a workaround you may downgrade to 7.1.1
See also:
I could reproduce the issue, I need to check, there were some changes in the nginx config files.
As a workaround you could go back to the previous version 7.1.1:
yum downgrade https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/DocumentServer/releases/download/v7.1.1/onlyoffice-documentserver.x86_64.rpm
signal-event nethserver-onlyoffice-update

Only if you installed the Onlyoffice repo, see also onlyoffice [NethServer Wiki]
koolandrew:
Please advise
To downgrade to 7.1.1 just execute
yum downgrade https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/DocumentServer/releases/download/v7.1.1/onlyoffice-documentserver.x86_64.rpm
and apply the config:
signal-event nethserver-onlyoffice-update

This really doesn’t sound right, as it will always give a cert error.

Usually you don’t need to manually change these settings.
Please remove https://127.0.0.1
as @danb35 pointed out.
Please also check if there’s the most recent version of the Onlyoffice Nextcloud app installed.

i have removed https://127.0.0.1 as suggested. I never added it, it must be a default setting.
Hooray, no more errors.
However, i have set onlyoffice as the default for many types of files (ie .docx) and when i open or create a docx file, collabora opens up. I am only trying to evaluate onlyoffice as i find collabora difficult to use, as it is based upon libreoffice which i have had real issues trying to edit previous word docs.
