I read through Default DNS resolver and I have a similar situation where my DNS queries aren’t being resolved. Reviewing the /var/log/messages shows Jul 24 13:58:38 SERVER dnsmasq[31480]: started, version 2.76 DNS disabled and attempts to dig all fail. the resolv.conf does not have my dns servers as shown in the UI. Is there a solution to add my dns servers, fix the lookup, and still leave dnsmasq hobbled? It’s a security risk to have it answer outside calls and Neth won’t allow it to stay off.
