I have not been here in some time, I am back with questions as usual. Can an upgrade from NS 6.8 to NS 7 be done on a live running system without crashing it?

Better make that a rock solid procedure. I know āthat other distroā has always been struggling with upgrades to new versions. Avoid problems at all cost!

Upstream doesnāt support anymore upgrade from 6 to 7:

This would be a HUGE ouch if this means that upgrade from NS6x -> NS7.x would mean backup, install from scratch and restoreā¦
