I did offer a walk-thru, that offer is still valid.
1-3 hours, and you can do it yourself…
I don’t need Zabbix Server Access, but would make it easier for both.
I’d come over to Vienna (Love the city!), or invite you over to Switzerland, but 10h trip IS daunting, and that time spent better learning / practicing…

You CAN see where I’m based (Profile), my mother tounge may be english, but I speak german / swiss dialects (AND most German ones except maybe Kölsch) very well. My Wiener Schmäh may take 1-2 days speaking to Wiener people to be perfect again, it’s been a while!
Also Deutsch ist absolut kein Problem!
Am besten zB mit Skype oder ähnliches, und beide am Kiste / Internet…
WhatsApp oder andere FB Mittel lehne ich leider ab.
Falls du zufällig Apfel Produkte im Einsatz hast, wäre Facetime Audio / iMessage eine gute Alternative (schnelle File Transfers)

OK, kein Problem, einen Termin finden wir schon…
Youtube ist machbar, aber erst wenn ein “Pseudo” Netz zum zeigen vorhanden ist. Ist bald bei mir soweit, kann aber noch 4-6 Wochen dauern, bis ich hier mit allem wieder eingerichtet bin.
Schliesslich will man im Youtube nur Know-How vermitteln, aber keine eigene Netzdetails verbreiten…

Bei Elleni war’s krass, er hatte sein chef versprochen. Montag in eine Woche könnte er sein Windows ERP installieren (Am Montag…). Am Samstag Abend stand er immer noch auf Platz 1, keinen Schritt weiter…
Ich habe ihn versprochen, wenn er mich folgt, kriegen wir das bis Sonntag MITTAG am laufen - ich habe mich um 1 Stund geirrt! War eine laaange Session, 14 Std.
Teamviewer auf beide Seiten versagt, also nur via Chat und Screenshots, und Code / Images via NAS ausgetauscht.
-> Aber es läuft, und mein etwas ungewöhnliches Konzept hält seither stabil. Firewall ist halt jetzt ein OPNsense, aber alles läuft!
OK, kein Problem. Zabbix steht auf der Agenda…
Ich wünsch Dir noch einen schönen Abend, ich muss morgen früh raus.

Just to inform everyone interested:
I am planing an interactive session regarding Zabbix on NethServer.
The scope will be only for Zabbix on NethServer with MrMarkuz’s module.
Seperate installs like Zabbix alone on a VM are not specifically covered, but should also work without any issues.
The main subjects are:
- Templates
- Maps
- Screens
- Slides
This afternoon I’ll be doing a “dry run” together with @robb…
Plans are for this to happen first week in February - Thursday, 4th February 2021, 14:00 MET afternoon, 2 PM MET/CET. The date can still be changed, if it does not suit a majority…
Further Information as to when and how will be posted.
I will also post infos on what would be good to have “on hand”, like a list of hosts, including short Hostname, FQDN, IP and maybe MAC-Addresses and a comments field…
