Hi, I don’t get wordpress updates anymore.
The most recent version is 5.2.2 mine instead stopped at 5.4.16

You have the latest version available on EPEL. Latest Wordpress release (5.2.2) is on Remi’s repo but, if I understood correctly, it has not been ported to EPEL repo because of the php version (see this):

Wordpress 5.2 was released
This version raise dependency on PHP 5.6 (but 7.2 is recommended for performance, and to avoid some pure-PHP compatibility libraries)
So this new version will only be available in Fedora repository (and later in EPEL-8)
EPEL-6 and EPEL-7 will keep 5.1.x as along as possible.
