WordPress 6.2 fails with php8.0

please could you give it a try, no need to enable remi-safe

i have the same problem when executing yum update --enablerepo=nethserver-testing libicu71 libzip5 php80-php-*

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

for the time being i switched the vhost back to php7.3

before the update i had the same message as the original poster ;

15 days later, WordPress sucks again with the same error.
No new or updated plugins, error also with complete removed plugins.
It’s really terrible.

Please could you check in logs, I cannot help without traces. It does not work give us no pointers

can you tell me please which log files and wich entries are important?

/var/log/messages and check after php-fpm error or any error

grep -srni {error,segfault,failed} /var/log/messages

however we need the complete transactions of log lines and not what you will grep, the grep could help you to locate what service and when the service failed

I tested a fresh Wordpress 6.2 installation in a vhost and it worked without error. I used this howto.
It also worked after installing your fixes from here.
