Hi folks,
I see several doc signing applications, which one do you prefer?
Thanks,
Good Morning,
i use DocuSeal
But don’t use the app from the Nethserver Store. It doesn’t seem to work. I’ve got DocuSeal running in a separate Docker container.
Please provide your motivations in detail, so app developers can possibly improve.
Are you running Nextcloud?
I’m not using it so I can’t speak to its value.
Hi @transocean it didn’t work ![]()
It installs but I wasn’t able to get it going.
Hi @LayLow
I just wanted a platform where I could sign documents without spending.
I’m using a couple of the free ones right now so I can use more of the daily limit, but the ideal would be a centrally type repository for all of them.
Thanks,
I’ll try that for sure!!!
Thank you @fasttech
Not free, and the signing is done by another company ![]()
Thanks,
@kemboielvis22 or @oneitonitram have done research in this area, maybe they can give some advise?
The Best Options you have on this regards, are probably Documenso, as well as Opensign.
We have a docuemnso Module, howerver there would be some manual steps during setup, because, documenso for some reason has been frustrating us to get it to send initial email.
We had worked out some solutions i think, maybe we just havent gotten around to updating the Module..
Opensign, while the Most Open solution for document signing, is also the Most frustrating to get it up and running on NS8. We have not made major strides in this regards, we should soon probably look into working on them. We had some law firm clients willing to sponsor the works, but pulled out last minute.
If youre in a hurry, The Coolify and Dokploy modules, can isntall the opensign, as well as documenso, however, due to the setup of NS8, Our Dokploy and coolify setup, require a secondary deployment server. If you ahve a server to deploy, that can be controlled by coolify, thats your best bet for now, thats most Prod ready.
We will be updating both coolify and dokploy modules soon.
@jfranco let me know if these are options that work for you, and let us know what you require.
