Same here. Been listening her for years.
Caught out in the rain is one (of many) of my favorite songs too.
A song with a nice guitar intro:

Agreed that Beth Hart is an absolute top singer. And probably one of the most under valued singers. I can listen to her for hours.
love the voice in this… i like female voice in general lol… i was listening to Dido, Paramore and Nighwish the other day!
Not so much listening to anything new, as on something new. Listening to a Raspberry Pi 4 with this amp:
They sound really nice. Listening mainly to classical music on them.
If anyone is a fan of Hi-Fi, i suggest to take a ride to https://www.tnt-audio.com
Dr Cadeddu is Italian, so I am a bit biased but… i think that anyone who’s looking for independent opinion and expertise won’t miss to find interesting the whole review site.
Really impressive speaker
I realize I love listening music, during hours, but I miss the good tool
Checkedout a HiFiBerry DAC+ a few years back but did not satisfy me.
This does not mean it is a bad product, actually it is quite good value for the money.
My requirements are just bit a higher and reading you are going to listen to classical music you may have them too.
IIRC The DAC+ (and the Amp2 probably too) has HardWare volume control. What ever board you buy it needs to have this. You do not want the alsa software-mixer deteriorate the (digital) PCM signal to almost nothing.
IMHO The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (alsa) is misnamed The Complex Linux Sound Architecture covers it more, certainly not advanced.
Volumio is a very nice project and have to revisit it.
Back then when setting my daily-used up audio-render it was very hard to add decent resampling (which you kind of want seen given alsa’s limitations), fir-filters etc to volumio. The newer modular architecture of Volumio seems to make this possilbe.
Use proprietary software (Jriver mediacenter ) instead which was my favorite on Windows and Linux even more. (dunno how they do it : It just sound so much better)
I kinda liked and disliked that… impressive music skills, but there is too much information in that!
hahaha
i am currently listening to:
I am pretty much addicted to their sound! ![]()
I also like Riverside.
Lately I’ve been re-listening to Paradise Lost. I used to like more their albums with clear vocals (one second, host, believe in nothing…) even though early fans adopters disagreed. Las year they released a new album: “Obsidian”.
As good as any other day to listen to Jeff Buckley.
I just realize this epic performance isn’t in the list yet. It does bring back memories of a great time in Italy at Nethesis and Nethserver summit.
Cool!
added to my list!

Best Power Metal live band!
Enter Sandman hit has become a classic. Versioned many times, orchestrated, arranged for 4 cellos (Apocalyptica)…
But it must be said that after decades of watching the video it is really beautiful, maybe more than the old one !!
