I have one user who has no contacts in the WebTop contacts. I created a new category, and still can’t create a new contact. It doesn’t error when saving the contact, it just doesn’t appear.

If there’s no way to fix this, should it be refiled as a bug?
Does it help to remove the user and login again? You can remove the user data as Webtop admin, see WebTop groupware — NS8 documentation
If it’s a bug we need to be able to reproduce it.
Which user domain do you use? Internal/external samba/ldap?
Does the affected user have special characters in the user/display name?
Please also check the logs if there’s an error about creating the contact.
I can try removing the account. And no, the account name has no numbers or special characters. I’m using internal Samba as the account manager. I checked the logs and I can find absolutely no errors.
Will removing the account remove the emails associated with the account? I’m going to back them up anyway, but, it’s easier if we don’t have to restore them. There are thousands of emails.
The mails are saved in the mail app but other data like contacts/calendar/tasks etc. will be deleted.
