I have recently had a strange problem with the current Webtop version. I have shared a calendar with my wife.
Now I have been receiving several emails a day for a few days about a dummy event that was supposedly created by my wife, but she did not create the event.
The dummy event always lasts one minute and is created for the year 1925 and for the Africa/Algiers time zone.
I don’t know if this is due to the iPhone, I also have an iPhone and no such appointments are created by me.
Nothing unusual, if it wasn’t an appointment for a shared calendar of mine, where I receive an email every time, then I wouldn’t have noticed it at all.
Yes, I deleted all the appointments, but they were not serial appointments. For recurring appointments, I only receive one email and not for each recurring event.
Unfortunately, I’m at a loss, which is why I posted the question in the forum. While these appointments are being created, my wife is not busy with the iPhone at all.
That’s a good idea, I haven’t tried that yet. I have now restarted the iPhone and removed access to the calendar from all additional apps. Now I will change the password and then wait and see if the problem persists.
Many thanks for your tireless help, I will report again.
I was able to fix the problem, my wife restarted her iPhone and her smartwatch and I removed access to the calendar from all apps, after that the problem was gone.
Sorry for using the forum, I was thinking of an error in WebTop and therefore posted the problem here. But maybe it will help someone who has the same problem and searches here.
