Webtop - Calendar invite emails using distribution lists fails sending emails

Webtop - Calendar invite emails - using distribution lists fails - fails sending emails

I have tested this on two NethServer installations with the same error.

Received error to the to the NethServer admin email account -

Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
Mail Delivery System <MAILER-DAEMON@ (removed) >

Isn’t there anything behind the mail address? Normally there should be the reason, why it is not send. If not, you could have a look at

I think this could be your problem.

What do you think?

If I don’t make a mistake we have already an opened bug: [WT-517] The invitation to a distribution list does not work - Issues

Yes that looks like the issue. This has been a known bug since |Created:|16/Nov/18 10:17 PM| and was last updated |Updated:|12/Apr/21 7:11 PM|

I hope this can be escalated.

@webtop_team
Can you help with this bug?

Is there any update on this issue?

cc @lucag

Hi Mark,
Hi …
unfortunately I have no other updates for this issue :relieved:
As you can read from the comments, a solution was proposed with this new feature but it was declined because it was not considered correct by the developers.

The developers are working on some time-consuming under-the-hood changes.
Soon they should also be able to release a bug fix release, we hope it contains this too

Bye
