The update ended normally (as far as I could see).
However, after that, I noticed that I couldn’t reach my webtop mail

The webpage at https://mydomain/webtop/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

And when looking into the nextcloud-app on my phone it says nextcloud is in maintenance-mode.
When trying to connect to the nextcliud-webinterface it tells me Nextcloud needs an upgrade.

Nextcloud will be updated to version 21.0.2

The following apps will be updated:

Futhermore, service tomcat8@webtop keeps stopping. Admin-web warns it isn’t running, but some seconds after manually starting it, it stops again…

Since I do have Roundcube installed as well I can see mail is functioning as expected.
Help! I want webtop and Nextcloud back, but I don’t know how…
please advice? A reboot didn’t help…

About Nextcloud, can you post the output of the following command?

occ upgrade

Also, nethserver-nextcloud upgrade log from /var/log/messages could be useful for developers to take a peek, in case a broader fix is needed.

oooh, that spits out a lot of update-checks & updates.

Resetting log level

Now, I can log in to the webinterface of Nextcloud, and the app on my phone is ‘online’ again.
So, that is issue 1 solved! Thanks.
Log in my next post.

Wow, that was quicker than expected!

Regarding webtop / tomcat, what does the service status says?

systemctl status -l tomcat8@webtop

While looking in the logs, I remembered earlier I had luck using

signal-event nethserver-webtop5-update

And now again; webtop is running as before!
Are you still interested in /var/log/messages (to possibly identify a common problem), or was that just to troubleshoot my issue?

Smart move.

No. If the problem had been more difficult then maybe.

thanks a lot for your help. updating Nextcloud and then signal webtop seemed to be the solution.
