Web Proxy error - timeout

NethServer Version: 7.5
Module: Web Proxy

Hello!

I’m having a hard time using the web proxy enabled.

I enabled the proxy in the following format:

After enabling the Web proxy some “Windows 7” clients have the network hang, this usually occurs if I change some lock setting in the Proxy or if the client access a banned site. It seems that the connection gets “stuck” and does not return the blocked screen to the client, after that the network of the machine hangs completely, the service dns stops and re-starting a machine for the network services to work again.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

All stations are Windows 7.

Never experienced this but I have some questions:

Which browser is used? Do you use web content filter too?

Are there errors in the logfiles /var/log/messages, /var/log/squid/cache.log or /var/log/squid/access.log?

Are there errors in the windows client logs? If the DNS client service goes down, there should be at least an entry.

The machines were located on Google, I removed and I put the internal DNS of the Nethserver and apparently the problem has been solved. Something similar happened.
