Virtual IPs like in Pfsense

NethServer Version: 7.9.2009
Module: Network or Firewall

Hi there,

I have a router provided by my ISP which delivers several public IP address on the same ethernet port.

With Pfsense, I am able to create Virtual IPs for those public IPs, and use them in NAT rules. So 4 different servers are accessible from 4 different public IPs, all throw 1 WAN ethernet interface (and of course 1 LAN interface…).

I would like to replace Pfsense with NethServer, but I can’t find this “Virtual IP” feature on the web gui.

Am I missing something ?

Fred

Hi and welcome to NethServer Community.

You may use WAN aliases and port forwards.

In the network settings add the public IPs as alias to the WAN interface:

Then create a Port Forward in Applications/Firewall and choose one of the public IPs in the advanced options:

Thanks Markus,

It seems so easy and obvious now
