normally i use Thunderbird as mailclient on my desktops, but sometimes it is necessary to use Webtop from outside of my network. With Thunderbird i can use SMIME and it works good. Is there a way to use WebTop also with SMIME, or do I have to do without?

forgive the delay in answering due to summer holidays 
S/MIME on WebTop is not currently supported.
We have some ideas to evaluate for a possible future integration of OpenPGP but still to be studied

Any news? Email signing and encryption is getting more and more important. So webtop should support the two defacto standard pgp and smime.
Hi, pgp and smime implementation was considered but never given high priority, because in Italy is almost not used at all, as we have PEC (certified email with specific providers).
We may reconsider, if many of you find it necessary.
