Upgrading to NS8 - Webtop Questions

Hello @webtop_team @lucag @mrmarkuz ,

Thanks to @Andy_Wismer (another post coming on his great help!), I’ve finally taken the plunge and upgraded my NS7 to NS8. Now comes the configuration questions (again) but this time on NS8. :slight_smile:

I’ve searched the forums for how to add Jitsi Meet to Webtop on NS8. I had done this on my NS7. The link here does not give me where in my NS8 cockpit where to add in Jitsi Meet? I can see in the Webtop Admin page where Jitsi Meet is added in the properties…but my staff and I cannot see the link at the top of the Jitsi page. Please advise how I add to my Webtop on NS8 Jitsi Meeting Setup:

Secondly…we use the ‘Alternate root folder’ on Webtop>Settings/Mail/Advanced. Our two secretaries do not have their own mail accounts to use. They instead manage our general inbox so when they login to their Webtop they don’t see their Inbox…they both see the general inbox. I’ve added each secretary to use the identity of the general mail and I’ve added both secretaries in their Settings page to use the general mail inbox in the ‘Alternate Root Folder’. But when the secretaries login they see an error saying the Alternate Root Folder cannot be found. Does this work in Webtop on NS8? Do you have documentation I can follow on how to set this up please?

BTW, @mrmarkuz , using the link you provided…I’m looking to add our logo to Webtop. I’m following what I did for my NS7 and I’ve added the login.png file I had used in NS7 to my NS8. But the login page is still skinner with the ‘Nethservice Collaboration’ pictures. Is there a way to add my Logo instead? I’ve read the link you provided and followed the instructions.

Hmmm, I’ve now noticed that my logo has been added to the new Webtop Login…it was very small so I didn’t notice it. Plus what I was expecting was like the Webtop on NS7 my logo was above the login and there was nothing else on the page. My company is not liking the large ‘Nethservice Collaboration’ message and pictures on the new Webtop. Can this be removed or can we change the message? We would prefer to have our own company logo large and perhaps our own words or message for our Webtop Login page. @webtop_team , what advice can you give me on how to do this please?
