Hello community, I need some help updating to a newer version of Microsoft SQL Server on nethserver.
Can you shed some light on the procedure?
It’s “simply” CentOS 7… Follow the instruction from Microsoft.
The package you find in NethForge is only for “tamed install” for an italian ERP.
The Nethserver SQL module stops, after the upgrade to the 2019 version is performed (native is SQL 2016).
My idea was to keep the SQL module on nethserver updated, but I don’t know if it’s possible.
Just for the record higher versions of SQL 2019 do not run on CentOS 8 or higher.
