Updating System Packages

Hello community!

I was wondering if it is recommended to update system packages using the command line instead of the web-ui (cockpit).

• Using the Software Center, does this update all the packages that pertains to NethServer only or is it the equivalent to running yum update?

• If I wanted to update using the command line, what is the proper way of updating the system packages?

any yum valid command, ns7 is a centos7 clone : yum update

Thank you. I wasn’t sure if yum would do or if there was a “nethserver way” to update from the commandline.
