NS8 has an HTTP API, so it is possible to write a Bash script that updates multiple clusters, if desired.

However, applying updates blindly is bad practice. As mentioned in other threads:

  1. Nethbot will notify the forum about NS8 updates, just like it does for NS7.
  2. The Software Center will display a link to the release information or show the release changelog directly.
  3. Automatic updates are already available if a subscription is active.
