Some file(s) inside nextcloud-11.0.2-1.4.ns7.noarch.rpm
are corrupted (at least Nextcloud Manual, lzma error), and other sample files missing.
yes, something went wrong when repackaging the testing version… i’ve retried on a clean ns7+ns10:
(please don’t use on a production server)
yum update --enablerepo=nethserver-testing --disablerepo=nethserver-updates nethserver-nextcloud nextcloud
and install went fine… i think we should wait @davidep
edit: the strange thing, i’ve updated this morning my testing vm from nextcloud-11.0.2-1.3.gbcd069aa.ns7.noarch.rpm to final without problem
…strange thing: I’ve installed it on a clean VM at 16 UTC and found no issue. However I could be betrayed by my web proxy cache
Our mirrors are now synchronized. @gerald_FS @dz00te @dnutan @GG_jr could you give it a try?
Run
yum clean all
yum update
Please paste here any error message (better if text format is used )
Try it in a second step
Hi @davidep ,
I have tried for a few times, both steps.
Please see all the attached screenshots (I am in a hurry, I must to go for a while).
I will try again after a few hours.
Kind regards,
Gabriel
Unfortunately it still is not!
Now the installation runs a little further, but it comes as with the previous speaker the same message.
nice day!
Thank you!

I’ve reproduced and investigated the problem and found two issues:
-
the delta RPM for nethserver-nextcloud was invalid because I uploaded the same RPM two times. This invalidates the delta checksum (even if the original file is the same the RPM signing process produces different files). In the end, the delta RPM does not apply to the second upload.
-
the nextcloud RPM file size appeared truncated. From your reports I see 30M, but should be 35M (at least on my PC it was so). I uploaded it again.
Now they are fixed and seem to work correctly by my side. Please, wait until mirrors are synched again. If you’re in hurry comment out mirrorlist=
and uncomment baseurl=
lines in /etc/yum.repos.d/NethServer.repo
. Then run the following commands:
yum clean all
yum update
If you worked around the deltarpm issue as suggested by @dnutan the nextcloud package update could produce many RPM warnings of missing files. I think it’s because of a previously failed RPM transaction and should not harm.
Now nextcloud install succeds!!
Thank you !
Fixed for me too!
Could you explain why is it necessary?
Is it always required when upgrading 10?
In my case it was a clean install where nethserver-nextcloud
was installed yesterday while nextcloud
package failed. Maybe a signal-event nethserver-nextcloud-update
sufficed.
I saw during unsuccessful updates that the previous version, nextcloud-10.0.2-1.ns7.noarch, must be removed.

Maybe during this remove, the nethserver-nextcloud also should be removed.
Just said my opinion.
Maybe somebody else will run only signal-event nethserver-nextcloud-update and we will see what happens.
i’ve noted too, but now it seems correctly updated
# rpm -qa | grep nextcloud
give me the correct packages installed…
i’ve tried an update from a nc10, clean install, no user and i didn’t had those problems… i’ll make some other tests in the next days…
