nethserver-ntopng-3.0.2-1.ns7.noarch

  • Fix ntopng web interface url (#25)

… nTopNG reports “no data” and all previously configured network interfaces have disappeared.

Please, try to access the Server Manager and configure again the software.
If the problem still persists, please paste the output of:

  • db networks show
  • ifconfig
  • config show ntopng
  • cat /etc/ntopng/ntopng.conf

Thank you for your hints. No chance to reconfigure/reinstall the application, because I risk losing the installed license because I have already used up my last allowed attempt.

[root@nethserver ~]# config show ntopng
ntopng=service
Authentication=disabled
Interfaces=
TCPPort=3000
access=green
alias=eb9c4d5400135113e849a8e426b92e54164c948e
status=enabled

[root@nethserver ~]# cat /etc/ntopng/ntopng.con
#
-i view:all
-w=3000
-m=
-l 1
-G=/var/run/ntopng.pid
--redis 127.0.0.1:6378
-Z "/eb9c4d5400135113e849a8e426b92e54164c948e"
-n 1

For sure, you need to reconfigure the software: no worry about the license, you’re going to change just the config file.

This is how the config should look like:

-i=en0
-i=en0.10
-i view:all
-w=3000
-m=192.168.1.0/24
-l 1
-G=/var/run/ntopng.pid
--redis 127.0.0.1:6378
-Z "/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
-n 1

And config show ntopng:

config show ntopng
ntopng=service
    Authentication=disabled
    Interfaces=en0.10,en0
    TCPPort=3000
    access=
    alias=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    status=enabled

So, access the Server Manager and select the interfaces you want to monitor.

@giacomo, I didn’t realize the possibility to configure nTopNG inside of the server manager.
Great integration!
Thank you, Marko

  2. Missing menus and functionalities
  3. wrong port associated inside Cockpit (customized to 4000)
