i have a problem with the screen mail home page.
When I have the screen open for a while, i think after the timeout, i don’t understand if there’s new mail or no.
For example now i send a mail to my colleague. My colleague have the screen open but doesn’t see my mail. She also looks on the folder on the left bar, only when she reloads a page she notices that it wasn’t connect and appears the login page of webtop.

Would you mind to try to use a different chrome profile for a little test?
Nowadays browsers are more and more similar to OSes for options, extensibility, tweaking and became a mess for not skilled users…
I try with different browsers, but the problem is that if the webtop isen’t connect, there isen’t a message that notify this.
I think that the problem is the time out of session
Definetly. You’re haveing a problem on your clients mantaining the websocket needed to keep alive the connection with WebTop server. Open the Chrome debug window (F12), you will probably find some error messages when this happens.

Side question for @favalcatraz: how your and your colleague computers are connected to NethServer?
Lan? WLAN? Internet(which kind of connection)?
My firm has 30 users and we all try to use webtop. On all PCs have told have this problem. I tested it on two PCs as a test. So I don’t understand all these questions. It seems strange to me that you can’t notice these mistakes… Anyway we connect to nethserver via lan and wifi
Looks like your network is not allowing websockets, or truncating the polling connection that is breaking WebTop session keep alive.
As I told you, open Chrome debugger (F12) and when this happens you will see debug console messages.
Copy and paste those messages here.

Sorry Tommaso… I’m not happy that you’re having problems, but… nobody on the community knows your network structure, which are policies, security product installed on your PC, even what is the server infrastructure (even if it’s a normal computer with NethServer installed.
I am no ambassador of NethServer or Webtop, Gabriele Bulfon and Luca Gasparini can confirm that i am quite incisive when Webtop is not working as I would.
But at 90% Webtop works flawlessly (10% left for bugs and missing features) and the case you’re telling us is quite unusual. Lot of Webtop installations are working daily and correctly, so maybe the issue is in setup you’re using.
I did not understand very well: you have this issue on all the computers of your firm? Or only at the two you’re talking about into the first post?
For option 1: do you have antivirus installed on your computers with web filtering functions?
For option 2: do these computers have something different from the others?

You seem to use AdBlock. Did you try to disable it for the Webtop site?
Ok I disable the AdBlock for webtop…

Are you currently remote or local for the server?
Also: is the server acting as gateway or there’s a firewall in front of the server?

I received a mail, I’m seeing it on the iphone, but in the webtop browser it does’t see it. I saw other mail. To see that mail i have to reload a page, after that the login page appears
