I am seeking clarification on how the NethVoice configuration works when utilizing nodes. I have a remote VPS server and two physical locations, and I would like to install NethVoice on the VPS.
From my understanding, NS8 uses WireGuard to facilitate communication between nodes.
Based on this, my assumption is that NethVoice and the proxy will be installed on the VPS, while the two nodes will only have the proxy installed.
I plan to configure a local DNS to route voice.example.com to the private IP (LAN address) of the two nodes. I would then point the SIP addresses on the phones to this domain (voice.example.com). The proxy on the nodes would use the VPN IP address of the VPS as the public-facing IP.
Is this configuration correct?
