I need some help to understand the use of wireguard in NS8.
The host address of my VM is 192.168.xx.x (dmz address)
In /etc/hosts I see 10.5.x.1 as cluster-localnode which is a wg0 address.
Which of these addresses is to be used for contacting nextcloud or another app through haproxy in pfSense? I’m a bit confused.
Use only the host address 192.168.x.x, do not touch /etc/hosts entries.
The network assigned to wireguard is reserved to cluster communications. Configure your firewalls so that the leader node can be reached also on UDP port 55820 (our wireguard default) from other nodes.
