Ubuntu gui access to shared folder

Hi,
I’d like to access to shared folder from nautilus “connect to” (ubuntu 22.04), I can see the shared folder, I put my credentials on auth form but nothing…

I try with netbios domain name or internal domain name or user@domain ecc

Were is the error?

Do you connect to the share via IP or domain controller host name (for example dc1.ad.domain.tld)?

Here it works with Ubuntu 22.04.1 using IP or name, I filled the fields like that:

Hi sorry for the delay but i have some health problems. I try to use an administrative account with no modify to acl. All share are created with “Main group can read and write, everyone else has no access”. in the “domain” field i wirte the domain name in upper case. The problem is the acl?

It was just a guess.

How do you connect to the share? The DC name or using the IP should work…

Can´t acces via servername shared folder

Sorry for the late answer, I can confirm that it’s not working using the AD name. Here it works using the dc hostname (dc1 in my case) that is set when installing the account provider. I can connect from a Windows 11 client using \\dc1.ad.domain.tld\folder or just \\dc1\folder.

What’s the error that you get when trying to connect to the share?

Did you already try to connect using the dc name? (dc1.domain.com)

Is it possible to connect when using smbclient?
