Trying to setup Virtualbox for NethServer VM

it was a NAT during the installation.
After I put the correct network setting in the virtual box

With the browser,
I succesfiull connect and made the wizard configuration with the bridged adapter

Yes but in “NS you have NAT” as @filippo_carletti said .

Try to reinstall NS with “bridged” from beginning.

If i’m not wrong nat will show port 980 on your machine as you’re using
nat, i prefer bridge to avoid that kind of problems.

Okay,
I will resinstall all

Some clues.
And don’t forget the Bridge!

Update:

On linux you must install bridge-utils if you want to use a bridge
on apple i don’t know.

It seem that Mac OS X able to bridge the adapter without nothing more to install.

But I was not able to create a vlan as @GG_jr show in the screenshot, only o bridged adapter.

wlan0 is my laptop wireless adapter. If you have wired connection, you will see eth0.

It’s OK how you have set your VM.

Why reinstall? just change de nat to bridge and the ips.

I had already change the setti g

But look at my screenshot

Which screenshot?
The old one or you have something new?

The old one

Try to reinstall from scratch, using the informations that you got from here.
It take only 15 minutes and sure will works.
If you want to use the new VM as Firewall, after first login, you must add and set a new Green interface; after that, you must change eth0 from Green to Red (you cannot change from Green to Red before add a new Green interface).

Attention: you must set additional interfaces in VM VirtualBox if you want to build a Virtual Network. In VM VirtualBox, the additional interfaces will be attached to Internal Network. These interfaces will be used in NS VM for Orange, Blue, Green.

After a reinstall from scratch, all is perfectly running.

Thank you all

I’m more a “photograph” with print screen than a “cineast” making film

I have to find an “Howto make a film capturing a screen” and " howto become a youtuber"

Using a screenrecorder is easier than
 posting here
On OSX you can just use the default screen recorder http://osxdaily.com/2010/11/16/screen-recorder-mac/
On Linux (ubuntu in my case) you can use RecordMydesktop or simple screenrecorder.

Try it, it’s actually fun to do.

I will be difficult to pull out now :stuck_out_tongue:

Even if the real virtualbox experts are @ctek, @GG_jr and @stephdl

I will try to play with
