For some reason all my windows boxes are now giving this error (win 10 and 7)

I tried removing them from samba and adding them back. Trying changing computer names. I can log into nethserver (6.7 with all the latest updates) via web and ssh with no issues.

I’ve scoured the web for this error came up with a lot of powershell and AD commands that don’t seem to work. I get an error “A device attached to the system is not functioning” or some variation of that when using AD tools or powershell.

I’m not sure where to go from here.

In short. Sounds like the Badlock-Problem. Did you updated recently?
If yes: Downgrade the Samba-Components using this command:
yum downgrade samba* tdb-tools libtdb libtevent libtalloc pytalloc libldb

I totally missed that. I’ll downgrade and test as soon as I get home. Thanks!

You were correct, though you missed one package. But it was listed in the first link you provided
"yum downgrade samba* tdb-tools libtdb libtevent libtalloc pytalloc libldb"
