Terminal at cockpit in a new window or tab

Hi all,
I like the idea with the terminal at the cockpit ui. But what do you think to open it automatically in a new tab or window. Cause is, I often need ui and terminal at the same time and every time you change to another site at the ui and back to terminal an opened file in terminal is closed again. I know I can open it in a new tab with a click on the wheel, I only want to ask what others prefer.

@dev_team Would it be possible to change this, perhaps with a template?

I don’t think so: the most left menu is part of Cockpit.
Even if we can do it with an hack, it’s better to avoid it and respect upstream design.
