Still on prem and not in the cloud, why?

Hi,

It seems that many are still maintaining on prem infra with hardware, Proxmos etc etc. or dedicated hardware in a datacenter, same applies, On prem.

Why?

Anyway: datacenter or cloud for this kind of arrangement is more ore less the same thing.

There’s no cloud for system architects, only different tier of hosting services.

Hi @LayLow,

because I would never, ever put control of my data in someone else’s hands. That’s why I use Proxmox or a completely separate box for NS 7 or 8
