I’ve the following use case:
-
I’m using NethServer release 6.10 on an old DELL Dimension 5150. And even if it’s an old slow machine, I was and still be quite happy with Nethserver and its functionality. Now I want to host my own Web Site at home and did the following.
-
I registered my domain renesigi.ch
-
I’m using www.dynu.com for DDNS
-
On my router I’ve done port (80,443) forwarding to my nethserver device where I’ve installed wordpress.
-
Everything works fine BUT the browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Edge) give me e security exception.
-
Firefox gives me the Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT
-
So far understandable. Then I used LetsEncrypt (according to https://wiki.nethserver.org/doku.php?id=developer:letsencrypt) to created a valid Cerificate on my maschine. Everything worked fine but still the same security issue by the browsers (MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT).
Any help or hints to solve this problem would be very nice and helpful.
