[SOLVED] SOGo Authentication problem

Installed NS 7 RC3 interactive install, setup with nethserver-dc, email, file server, SOGo, vpn, jabber, …
Imported users and emails with the sssd scripts, now when I want to access the SOGo application I get a message saying : Authentication Failed - Incorrect username or password.

With this messages in /var/log/sogo/sogo.log

I just updated the rpm in nethforge-testing: nethserver-sogo-1.6.1-1.15.ga5eb638.ns7.noarch.rpm Please check it out! /cc @dnutan @mark_nl @flatspin @hucky @m.traeumner (I haven’t tested it with remote account providers.)

Edit: @mark_nl can we release latests packages? Can you do that?

Updated nethserver-sogo from nethforge-testing,
login authentication working after restarting service and reloading page.

I have somehow got the same issue after rebuilding my nethserver? Can someone please tell me how they solved this problem?

I just updated nethserver-sogo from testing repo’s, but that was 3 months ago. Updated nethserver-sogo will already be in the normal repo’s. I guess you got a different problem or used an old install media (cd/usb).
If updating doesn’t solve it, get logs from /var/log/sogo/sogo.log and maybe /var/log/messages, and start a new topic?

I installed nethserver from the latest iso downloaded yesterday. I was battling to get the domain controller to work because before yesterdays update when creating the active directory domain controller and leaving the hostname as “ad” in the past used to append this ad to the email in sogo.

To get around the bug I used to install active directory without the hostname this soved my problem. It seems nethserver have now fixed the bug and now require the hostname which is hidden in sogo now and does not append to the email address anymore.
