check also if the mariadb is created (I suppose that you removed it before to reinstall sogo)

Sorry for the Delay, i install it all completly new, now everything seems to work. Just one F
thing is, that my Android Device is not synching the Contacts, grrr, and i dont get an error in the logs
 (or just not finde him)

only the contacts by activesync doesn’t work on your android device ?

Can you detail what you did to reinstall sogo please ?

Yep, from the Webgui everything is fine, from Outlook also, from ios also. From Android mails, calender is fine, only the contacts are not synching.

I have installed everything new

ok, did you keep the sogo database or did you remove it ?

as an alternative for contacts I use the carddav feature of sogo

i also removed the database. rebuild it new by import from ics.

carddav is working, cause i use it by ios

nothing in /var/log/sogo/sogo.log ?

nothing where i read something to help me

it would be interesting to cross-check with another (android) device from where the problem comes: android or sogo

unfortunately i did not have another android. i installed a minute ago the android outlook client and there i have also my contacts. but still not in the adressbook of android.

no clues :frowning:

I don’t understand you, contacts are workable by the outlook client, but not by the contact manager of android and activesync. Is it that ?

what is the protocol of outlook client, probably activesync ?

sorry for describing it bad. i installed the first time, just for playing around, the outlook client on android. the win10 client works good with everything. yes, both are using the activesync. only the android contact manager doesent get the contacts.

and also funny, what drives me crazy, if i add a new contact from the mobile with the contact manager from android it is shown everywhere, so in direction of the server it works

maybe something not removed on the android device as some certificates, don’t know. Google gives some clues ‘activesync android don’t sync contacts’, perhaps time to look on the android side if the W10 and the android outlook client are workable

yep, i try to figure it out

I noticed numerous Android clients, including Outlook, not handling active sync well. The default ‘mail’ client on my HTC makes a mess of it. Installing a decent app like blue mail or nine solved that issue.

With problems on Android, but not in Outlook on Windows, suspect the Android mail client first.
