Slowness ISSUE: NS installation on Physical Server with Software RAID1 + LVM

Hi,

I am installing NS7 on my physical server with software RAID1 + LVM on SATA HDD with 1.5TB storage space. after installation i am facing slowness issue. Kindly help me out from this.

What are you finding slow?

Is it the admin page? Reading and/or writing to the SATA HDDs? Network responsiveness? One of the services running on the Nethserver installation?

Can you give some more info please?

  • what hardware are you using? (memory, processor, nics, disks)
  • Any logs? (var/log/messages to start wth, but any other logs might help)
  • Did you check the state of the disks? (S.M.A.R.T etc)
  • Any other hardware that might be failing? (memory module(s))
  • how did you configure your RAID1 and partitions?
