I noticed an unexpected behavior in the Nethserver8 GUI:
“Domains and Users” > “Users and Groups” > “Groups” > “Search field”:
The search result is correct as long as you are on “Page 1” of the list or the list fits on one page (list length). However, if the list is multi-page (10, 25, 50, 100) and you use the arrow to navigate to one of the subsequent pages, no results are found - even on pages where the matching result is listed.
If nothing is found the first time in this way, the search no longer works on “Page 1” of the list. If you then choose a different list length (e.g., 25 instead of 10), it works again on “Page 1” - until you navigate to a subsequent page and search there.
If this isn’t a bug but intended, I think the behavior needs some explanation.
If you consistently use the search function from the beginning, this won’t be noticeable because you’re starting from “page 1.” In my case, I noticed this because I first clicked to the relevant page and then decided to use the search function instead.
