Hello,
A client of us is running Nethserver 7.6.1810 + Samba 4.8.9 as a Domain Controller (SERVER1). They also run Windows Server 2016 (SERVER2).
I did configure some policies through GPMC and these work fine.
I would like to deploy some packages through a scheduled task. Unfortunately it’s not possible to run a scheduled task as a certain user (eg as Admin, Administrator or a copy of the Domain Admin). The option not to store the password is greyed out and ticked by default. I seem to have to set it to “NT Authority\SYSTEM”. I have done this before at clients with a Windows 2016/2019 DC. This doesn’t seem to work for this client. I can set the SYSTEM user but it will add “DOMAIN\SYSTEM” or “BUILTIN\SYSTEM”. Whoever, I can just copy/paste “NT Authority\SYSTEM” instead and save this; but it doesn’t work.
Nethserver works absolutely fine when I am settings something like this at another customer’s server which uses Windows Server 2008 R2.
Does anyone know how to solve or to work around this? Thanks.
