Samba upgrade to stable

Can you upgrade Samba because the actual version is old (4.9.x).

Improvements since 4.10.x/4.11.x…

Current stable: 4.11.x (4.11.2 for the moment):

We follow upstream rpm version, you should direct this to redhat, centos will follows and we will have directly the upgrade

@stephdl I think you are off a bit here. Samab4 (AD part) isn’t supported by RH/CentOS…

[root@NS7 ~]# rpm -qa  samba
samba-4.9.1-6.el7.x86_64

so to be clear, default samba is used for shared-folders, our custom sambaAD in a container is another compiled version by @davidep
