I haven’t done any testing with NethServer as a domain controller, but is there really just a main on/off switch for roaming profiles for all users?
Shouldn’t there be a per user setting for this instead? What if all users want/need roaming profiles, but then there’s a need for a generic account that will be used by multiple users on multiple computers so you don’t want the profile to “roam” because of risk of overwriting data by syncing incorrect profile data? I suppose you could go to each Windows desktop and switch the profile type from roaming to local, but that doesn’t seem like a very good solution.
