I went recently to the jdll 2025 at lyon (journée du logiciel libre) and I got the opportunity of sharing with the developers of yunohost at their stand.
I like to share with competitors often when you can expose your mind you might have other points of view and make new ideas
I have been really surprised how they are against containers and it was not a mindset about an old generation because they were about 20-30 years old.
They claim about complexity, disk space…I advocated about modularity, not dependent about one distribution.
However the gap was really steep and deep and we could not cross it

There is a shadow’s work at Nethesis actually relative to SBOM (software bill of materials) with a dedicated worker for security contents.
Of course no activity is without risk…I did an infarctus on a via ferrata…planes fall…etc but I hope that we could detect and patch security holes
