I have a client who has just asked a weird request. He would like to know if Nethserver can control quotas for each workstation or user.
For example, lets say he gives each user 20Gb a month, when that user wants to use the internet and logs in using a user name and password will he be able to see some kind of count down on the 20Gb, like have it show on the workstation somewhere?
Ever user will have a username or password so that quota will be come into effect no matter where that user logs on (laptop, phone, another office, etc)
There’s Hotspot (Dedalo) captive portal, but I’mn ot sure it meets your requirements of having authenticated users with Internet connection quotas and quota countdown.
