Redis Database error on install of NS8 (Debian 11)

Hi everyone

I’ve downloaded and attempted to install NS8 on a clean Debian 11.7 install.

My environment → Debian Virtual machine on VMWare
Internet access through SSL Inspection proxy - no direct
CA certs installed on Debian machine and HTTP/HTTPS proxy environment variables set (No user/pass for proxy just straight path)

I execute the script and it proceeds till the redis database service start.

Any troubleshooting starting pointers?

Okay a little sniffing on the network shows that the script isn’t always proxy aware. Saw traffic to github not going to the proxy and attempting to go direct. Implemented NAT rules to forward it to my proxy server and the script finally completed successfully.
